Where we drink coffee

At Santa Marina on Kallithea beach early in the morning. The calm before the crowds arrive is magical. Or at "Aktaion" in the center for a classic atmosphere.

Food: The Truth

For authentic food, go to Kalivia or "Mavrikos" in Lindos. Avoid restaurants with pictures of food outside.

What to avoid

Don't buy "traditional" sponges from the port without checking - many are imported. Be careful with taxis: always ask for a taximeter.

Our Secret Beach

Traganou is well-known, but the secret is on the far left, inside the cave. It is always cool and shady there.

Our Favorite Walk

Afternoon at Monte Smith for sunset. Grab an ice cream in hand from the center and walk up to the top. The view is breathtaking.

Sunday Vibes

On Sundays we avoid the Old Town in the morning because of the cruise ships. We prefer a walk to the Seven Springs for a refreshing dip.
